Dating Trends You can Expect in 2023

There’s a question many of you single guys may be asking: Now that it’s 2023, is dating gonna go back to how it used to be?

Well, the answer is no, it’s not. We are now living in a post-covid world, so even if people may not be as scared about the virus anymore, dating has changed in numerous ways. In working with my clients these past couple of years, we have had to navigate this new world, and I want to let you in on what to expect this year.

There are a lot of single women right now.

Dating apps have reported a huge increase in numbers of people who claim they have gone through a breakup or divorce in the past two years. The pandemic may have brought some people marriages and babies, but for a lot of people it made them realize they were not with the right person! This is amazing for you - it means there are plenty of nice women out there looking for the right guy, and you just need to know how to reach her.

And don’t forget about today’s economy. People are calling it “‘infla-dating,” due to inflation, and are more interested in going on unique dates rather than your traditional fancy dinner date.

I have to be honest, I have always told my guys to be more creative when it comes to first dates anyways. Is it really very comfortable for you guys to sit through a fancy dinner on the first date, especially if one of you isn’t feeling it after a couple minutes? Putting so much pressure for the first date is a terrible idea.

I advocate for low pressure things like catching a sunset, getting some ice-cream, walking along the beach, a picnic or coffee shop and boba dates. It gives you a chance to see if you two really vibe right away. If it goes well and you guys have good chemistry, you guys can always get dinner later but not on the first date!

Another thing you have to understand about this new dating era is that women are getting pickier. Because of social media, there are way more choices and women are competing for the top 10% of guys.

And do you know what these guys have? A sense of humor. It’s not just about being financially secure anymore, because there are plenty of men who have that. It’s about being complete as a man. Having the financial resources and the career, but also being able to be charming with women. Making women laugh, being a great storyteller and sweeping her off her feet! That’s what women are looking for in their dream man nowadays.

For some it comes off as natural, having a good charisma, but to others it doesn’t. These are the type of guys who are very intelligent but when they are on a date with a woman, they bore her to death and have platonic and mundane conversations that lead nowhere.

The good thing is that personality can be improved. Your Charisma can definitely get better to be able to attract women and get your dream woman.
